maddy-curtis.jpgFeature: Maddy Curtis, 16, from a Virginia family of twelve,was one of the contestants who advanced to Hollywood on the current season of American Idol after singing Leonard Cohen’s "Hallelujah." Maddy is the ninth child in the family and has an older brother and three adopted brothers with Down’s syndrome. She's also the daughter of award-winning pro-life blogger Barbara Curtis, who writes the MommyLife blog, which won the American Life League's Best Overal Pro-Life Blog Award in 2009.
